Paw Beach Venice Island
This park, across from Venice’s
airport, is where you and your “best friend” can play in the gulf and socialize
with other dogs. Offering doggie drinking fountains, showers on decks for “dogs
only”, fire hydrants and leash posts, dog lovers have declared this park… and Venice Beach… to be the best doggie park in the state of Florida!
Shaded by towering oaks, small dogs
will enjoy their fenced in arena while the big boys can frolic in the larger
pen. Double gates access both parks and the Venice Beach. A paved walkway leads
directly to Venice Beach where your best friend will delight in this 300’ section
of sand and water.
Note: Summer months may force you to
carry your furry friend to Venice Beach as the sand can be hot under paw. Doggie waste bags and
receptacles are provided and strategically placed around the park.
Human
comforts include drinking fountains, picnic tables and restrooms.
Parking is
very limited although off road parking is across the street.

Etiquette
Tips for Dogs at Outdoor Restaurants
Make sure your pooch is
well-behaved around other people and especially children.
Leash your four-legged friend and
keep him or her from socializing with other diners or employees, unless
welcomed.
Try to keep your dog close to your
table or chair so he or she is not in the waiter's path. Dogs are not allowed
on the chairs or tables.
Bring your own doggie bowl or ask
the waiter for a paper or plastic bowl or cup for water if necessary.
Pets are
not permitted to eat or drink out of restaurant glasses or dishes, unless they
are disposable.
Remember to tie your dog to your
chair and not a table. A dog tied to a table can result in spilled drinks or
food if he or she is strong enough to make the table move.
Always call ahead or ask first to
make sure an establishment allow dogs at their outdoor tables.
My focus is to best
understand the goals and visions of my clients, ensuring all decisions are made
with a wealth of information and the necessary tools for a successful,
rewarding experience.
I have found my Slice of Heaven I look forward
to you finding yours!
